Great evening

So,
sorry i haven't posted in some time. Been quite busy. Tonight had a great night though! Josh (my village mate) is getting engaged to one of our language instructors who is jordanian. So, his whole family flew out for the engagement and we all got to get together for dinner tonight in the village. It is always a treat when I get to hang out with josh (as it is so rare) but his family is just SOOOO nice! I mean, second to my family, they are probably one of the nicest I have ever met. So, for dinner tonight was josh, his parents, his grandparents, aunt and uncle, two cousins, one of his counsins fiancee's and his brother (who, by the way, does not build satellites... long story... smile). It was a great time to just hang with friends, take LOTS of pictures (which I hope to upload at some point) and relax.
So, what is up with me... in a few weeks will be volunteering in amman for operation smile which flies Iraqi kids and their families who need cleft lip/palate surgery to Amman for free treatment. Basically, PC volunteers work as liasons between the hospital, hotel staff, and families helping them while their children are in surgery.
Then, in Januaray, I am off to Morocco on vacation with some PC volunteers. Should be a wonderful experience. Anyway, time is flying and, though I miss you all, having a great time! I hope everyone has a happy turkey day!
